    Price? Cheap.

    Quality of food? Pretty good.

    Service? Fantastic.

Overall, Super Buffet gets 4 stars. I hadn't been to this buffet since I was a little girl. It's located in a very out of the way spot in St. Cloud. You'd never think to come here unless you already knew of the place. It's isolated and there's not too many exciting establishments near it.

My mom, bless her heart, rarely goes out to eat. She is very picky when it comes to food, so she'd rather do some home cookin' then spend money on an overly expensive meal that may not be any good at all. Why take the risk right? Well, her birthday fell on a Saturday this year, so we decided to take her out against her will. She expressed that she thought this place was pretty good, so we drove cross town for a family dinner.

The buffet price per person was a little over $11.00 and I felt that it was worth the price tag. There were a variety of foods available at the serve yourself buffet. There was a person who seated us and asked us what drinks we wanted (Note: After the first drink which he sets down on the table for you, you can go refill your drinks yourself. There is NO initial or extra charge as the drinks are included in the buffet price). We proceeded to get our plates, and chow down.

Everyone knows that when you go to a buffet, you eat as much food as your stomach will possibly allow you right? That's exactly what we did. My dad and uncle love seafood, so they got plates of crawfish, mussels, and shrimp. There were both iced and grilled shrimp.

My mom and I tried everything under the sun. The foods I really liked were the enormous mushrooms, the egg drop soup, the mussels and fried butterfly shrimp. I did try some of the sushi (need I remind you it's just buffet sushi, so don't expect high quality) and other foods like the lo mein and cream puffs as well. They were all fine, but not "stand out" quality. My mom HATED the eggrolls which is to be expected because there are many places who don't know how to make a decent eggroll. They stuff it with cabbage and fry it. THAT AIN'T A PROPER EGGROLL PEOPLE. End eggroll rant.

Their staff was so polite and always made sure to stop by and take our dirty plates away. They never let them pile up to high, and frequently thanked us when they were at our table. Such nice workers here. When we wanted refills of certain food options, they got out fresh food as fast as they could. I even noticed a worker thoroughly cleaning the counter after a little boy made a mess near the lo mein. The mom of the child informed the worker about the mess, and he did not hesitate to clean it up afterwards. That showed me that the staff here really care about their business.

So so service with plain Chinese food.  Although the price was cheap,  there were quite a selection of food to choose from

Came to St. Cloud to spend a long weekend with my friend. We normally go to a different Chinese buffet when we crave Chinese, but we decided to try this one since we've never been there and because it was really close to her apartment, which worked out well since we were planning on running errands after we had lunch.  As soon as we walked in, I noticed the carpeting and cringed. It was filthy. Certainly not appetizing in any way. In my opinion, they would do better to rip it out and stick with laminate or tile. Carpet (especially light-colored carpet), will always look yukky if you don't clean it regularly (which they obviously don't).

Despite the filthy carpeting, we still decided to try the food. We shouldn't have. It wasn't anything special. The wrap on the crab rangoons had zero golden crisp coloring. They were...pale. The filling was ok. It tasted like cream cheese, so at least they got that part right.

The honey chicken, General Tsos, and spicy chicken tasted almost identical. They were very bland and did not have good flavor.
    And certainly NO umami.

The chicken sticks were good, although I've never seen them fried like this place made them. They basically tasted like fried chicken strips.

The potstickers were ok, but nothing worth ever going back there again.

Their desserts (coconut cake square, strawberry? cake square) were both extremely dry. It was weird how dry they were. Like eating a sponge. My friend thought the same thing. Even the FROSTING was dry! I was thinking this, but then my friend said it to me (that the frosting was dry), and I said, "Yes! I thought the same thing! How is that even possible?!"

Don't waste your money here. There are much better options out there. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. The price (sans drinks, as we both got water) was just under $10. Not that that's a crazy price, but still is NOT WORTH IT.

They REALLY need to clean their carpeting. It's super gross.

Very disappointed, I had a coupon saying they had Sushi and Ice cream there wasn't any. Food was very rubbery and cold.

The worst Chinese buffet I have ever eaten at ever. The selection was very small, the food was barely warm and dried out. The quality was poor as well. Never again. Go anywhere else.
